One of the greatest resources available for sculptors and art collectors is located five miles north
of Santa Fe, New
Mexico, in the village of Tesuque (te-soo-ke). Shidoni, a bronze art foundry, sculpture garden
and gallery, is situated
along the Rio Tesuque on a former apple orchard. Visitors have the opportunity to watch 2000 degree
molten bronze
being poured into ceramic shell molds, stroll around the sculpture garden and visit the gallery which
represents 100
different sculptors from all over the country. Shidoni is a Navajo word used as a
greeting to a friend. If you are an
artist in need of the finest foundry services available, a collector in search of quality art, or you
want to learn about the
process involved in the creation of major works of art, please come for a visit.
